8+ years, Senior Attorney -- Portland, OR
Lead attorney for several groups within our client company and responsible for the IP design, system-on-chip development, manufacturing and validation of the company's overall chip portfolio across business lines. The position partners with the individual businesses to bring leadership products and platforms to market. The successful candidate will work hands-on with the business to provide counseling and solutions on a wide range of issues including counseling on intellectual property and technology licensing and collaboration arrangements, confidentiality, antitrust, and standards activities. Strong substantive skills (particularly in intellectual property licensing and risk-shifting), an aptitude for understanding complex technologies, exemplary project management abilities, a collaborative approach and strong counseling and influencing skills are all a must for this position. Minimum Qualifications: • Current US state bar membership (prefer OR and/or CA) • At least eight (8) years of relevant substantive legal experience in key areas, such as IP counseling, technology licensing, collaboration and commercial contracts, antitrust, and privacy/security. Ideal candidate would have: • Demonstrated success counseling senior business managers and leading project teams.

7-10+ years -Senior Corporate Counsel/Retail, Seattle, WA "An exciting deal-work opportunity in-house."
MOST EXCITING deal job in-house in Seattle, WA area. Our Seattle technology client is seeking a talented attorney to support their rapidly growing and evolving RETAIL business. Serve as the primary lawyer for counseling the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structure, draft and negotiate commercial transactions. Work directly with the business on strategic deals and provide day-to-day advice, resolve issues that arise in commercial relationships. Some travel, domestic and international to businesses is required. Duties include structuring, drafting, negotiating complicated technology, distribution, licensing, marketing and other commercial agreements and providing ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas including IP and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: 7-10+ years of legal experience as a transactional attorney, with at least two years at a mid to large/largest law firm. A mix of corporate department large firm and in-house experience most desired but senior associate/junior partner M&A level private firm attorney a good profile for this, as well.
