Our large corporate client is seeking an experienced attorney to help manage labor and employment issues. You will support US consumer business, North American fulfillment centers and including six mid-West states. Sophisticated. Responsibilities include providing practical advice and counseling regarding discrimination, disability accommodation, hiring, performance management and discharge, wage and hour, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, and other L&E issues. Responsibilities also include managing litigation, government agency investigations, audits and administrative charges, developing and delivering training, and supervision of outside counsel. This role works actively with internal clients in Human Resources and Operations and there is some travel. 6+ years legal experience, of which several years should be sophisticated law firm training. WA bar membership not required. Relocation available. A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience is preferred. Any international experience, especially with working with Latin American business is a plus, as is some union experience. (This is not a L&E litigation or traditional labor position.)
