We are looking for a talented senior attorney to lead legal support for our client's rapidly growing and evolving global logistics business. You will be working with a team with a mission to develop products and services that enable global shipping. You will be an integral part of the business teams you support, giving input on business and strategy in addition to serving as lead counsel on strategic commercial deals and regulatory matters, resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation disputes and inquiries. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly. There will be a strong international focus to your work. Our market-leading technology client is seeking a talented attorney to support its Product Quality and Brand Relations Team. Partner with business teams as they design, develop, and implement new strategies, tools and services to help ensure the authenticity and safety of products offered by the company worldwide. Principal duties include providing legal counsel and thought leadership to senior business leaders, product managers, analysts, technologists, and brand relations specialists across a wide range of topical areas, including IP, product sourcing and distribution, and regulatory compliance. Seeking that talented person to be able to act as an exceptional representative of the company to external stakeholders. Looking for strong academic credentials including JD from top law firm and membership in one state bar (WA not required). Minimum 7 years of legal experience, of which some portion of that experience from in-house and focused upon IP protection or enforcement.
