Code of Ethics

Northwest Legal Search, Inc.® has been a member of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants since 1987. Founder Linda Green Pierce served on the Board of Directors for five years and has contributed to the information found in the current NALSC Code of Ethics, which covers, among other items:

  • Relations with Employers,
  • Relations with Candidates and
  • Relations Among Members (of the NALSC)

NALSC Code of EthicsWe subscribe to the Code of Ethics of the NALSC and are happy to provide you a complete copy of the Code at your request.

Among significant code items of interest to client employers and candidates are:

Candidates:

"Candidates shall be referrred to employers only with the candidates'' express prior approval."

Employers:

"No search firm shall recruit a candidate it has placed while that candidate remains with the employer that paid the recruiting fee."
